May I Have Your Attention, Please? by Catherine Rhoden-Goguen deals with teen suicide. The synopsis of this story we are all too familiar with in today's society, teen suicide. Story is about a teenage boy who just wanted to be loved by his family but instead was treated as the black sheep. He assembles them all together but instead arrives via videotape to explain why he feels the way he does & why he must end is life.
Pickin' by Tyrone J Butler deals with today's youth, bullying & the consequences of our actions.
Open auditions will be held at BTOTS' Blossom Hill facility Monday, February 7th & 8th from 7-10pm.
Auditions will be cold readings, no memorized monologues, and scripts will be provided. Looking for ages 13 and up. Adult roles available. It's vital to do both shows with TEENS and ADULTS.
The cast will be posted on the website Friday, February 11th.
Rehearsals will begin February 13, 2011, and run Sundays from 2:00 - 5:00pm and Tuesdays from 7:00-10:00pm at the BTOTS' Blossom Hill facilities. This is subject to change based on cast conflicts.
Both performances will be held at the historic Old Town Hall Theater on Public Square in Brecksville. |
